Postdoctoral position in modeling the relation between accessibility and economic activity

This work will take place in a multidisciplinary environment composed of physicists, economists, and geographers. This study has different components ranging from the empirical analysis of spatial data to the modeling of socio-economical processes. An experience in modeling complex systems and analyzing data is required, as well as computational skills (python, C++, etc.). An experience with economics is strong plus but is not required. Experience with statistical physics, or GIS tools is also a plus.

The postdoc position is available from this summer 2016, ideally starting during fall, and is of 2 years duration.
